Expedition Overview

Bhimbandh Wildlife Sanctuary, situated in the Kharagpur hills of Munger district, is a dense forest reserve spanning over 680 sq km. The forest is famous for its natural hot springs (geothermal springs) which maintain a temperature of 52°C to 65°C throughout the year, rich in sulphur and known for skin-healing properties. The eco-trek takes you through trails lined with giant sal trees, thick bamboo groves, and small streams. It is home to leopards, wild boars, sambar deer, and a vast species of birds.
