Expedition Overview

Dungeshwari Hills (also known as Mahakala Caves), situated 12 km northeast of Bodh Gaya, are famous as the site where Lord Buddha spent six years in severe penance before attaining enlightenment. The rugged, steep granite cliffs of these hills make them an excellent spot for rock climbing and rappelling. Additionally, a newly installed scenic zipline allows thrill-seekers to glide smoothly from one ridge to another, offering breathtaking aerial views of the Falgu River and local villages.
